The International Carnival of Rijeka The International Carnival of Rijeka is held annually and has a century old history of attracting carnival performers from all around the world during this celebration. The strange, mysterious and supernatural are all welcome themes, as are ancient elements of folklore and mythology. The city hosts thousands of floats, many parades, concerts as well as comical performances during this carnival. Be who you want to be, as everyone is dressed up to entertain during this month, which will attract over 100,000 visitors.
Split Carnival Take part in one of Croatia’s largest parties during the annual Split Carnival. The Carnival is celebrated with music and parades and includes a very exciting pyrotechnics display. This free event provides fun filled entertainment for the entire family.
ZagrebDox If you enjoy documentaries, then be sure to check out ZagrebDox. This documentary film festival screens Croatian and international films at cinemas throughout the city as film directors gather to meet the audiences and rub elbows with other industry figures. |
